At Hampton Court, we walked the same halls where Henry VIII once strode, Dora's paws clicking against centuries-old flagstones as she explored with curious sniffs. Bodiam Castle emerged from the morning mist like a vision from a medieval dream, its perfect moat reflecting the stone towers above. Here, Dora was particularly captivated by the waterbirds that make this ancient defensive feature their home, her tail wagging with each new discovery.

The United Kingdom stands as perhaps the most dog-friendly nation in Europe, allowing our four-legged companions on all public and most private transport mechanisms. This openness has given our documentation a whole new dimension of adventure, as Dora joins us on all our escapades – from bounding through the surf on Cornish beaches to politely sitting beside us in centuries-old pubs.
